Sliding from folk to blues to gypsy-roots and back, Burgess crosses more genres than state borders, giving off "more energy than an illegally sparked firecracker" [Drum Media, Sydney].

Handful, Part Two + Film Clip

Part Two lands.
Gosh it was fun making this second part of the Handful series. Got to go into a posho studio to record the drums for the first song, "run through the fire", which was subsequently mixed by the incredible Aurora Jane. And then we got to run around the streets of Footscray making this super cool film clip. Check it out!

New video clip!

So excited to be able to share this with you guys! Filmed by the incredible Agostino Soldati, featuring our very own backyard... not to mention two of the cutest kids I know :-). We will treasure this video as a momento of their childhood.

Handful, Part One

Here it is folks! Hot off the... well, hot off whatever CDs come from :-). Handful, Part One. You can grab a copy here, or on iTunes or Bandzoogle or pretty much anywhere that takes your fancy. Very chuffed at how pretty our friend Jessie from Craft Instinct has made it look too!

Check out our film Clip!

Super exited for this little baby! In advance of the brand new EP, Handful, Part One (due out Oct 21) we've got this super sweet film clip, produced by Agostino Soldati. Counting Down is the first song from the EP and was actually cowritten by Rosie and her musical collaborator and long time partner in life and all things wonderful, Sam Lohs. Check it out!!!

Up and running!

Lots of new shows added for the second half of this year! Excitingly, I'm playing lots of shows on the bass with Little Wise and Kerryn Fields as well. Check out their sites for gig details. New single set for release really, really, soon so stay tuned :-).
